Photo with Madison - digital camera
This 5 week virtual photograpy class is for teens age 14-18. Students MUST have access to a manual DSLR or mirrorless camera. If you are unsure if your camera is suitable for this class, please email me and I will be happy to help.
The class will cover how to take better photographs using a digital camera. Topics covered will inculde: camera settings, lighting, composition, and post prosessing.
The class will run from July 10th through August 7th. We will meet virtually, once a week on Friday morning from 11am-12 noon central time.
There will be a maximum of 6 students per class.
Students will also have access to a private group where they can collaborate and discuss what they've learned with each other. I will be available in this group for office hours 3x a week.
After each class, I will send each student a downloadable pdf summary of the lesson.

–If you select the extra, add on class option, your student will recieve one more 1 hour lesson on Friday, August 14th. This lesson will cover how to decide what to photograph, how best to approach a particular subject matter, and how to begin building a portfolio.
Two partial scholarships are available for BIPOC teens.
Registration will close 24 hours before the start of class.
Attendance is required for all classes. Students may take one make-up class if they give prior notice that they cannont attend.
Please contact me for a full refund up to one week before the start of class. A 50% refund is available up to 48 hours before class begins. No refunds will be given after the class has begun.
